Hi, I’m Mel.

I am currently working in the nursery at Nash Street and am absolutely loving it. I have been grateful enough to have been working in childcare for the past 14 years working at several different centers in Brisbane but Nash Street feels like home. In that time I have gained my certificate and diploma.

I have found this industry to have its challenges but it is so rewarding as we are given the opportunity to guide children on their learning journey from the very beginning. The bonus is meeting so many lovely colleagues and families along the way.

Hi, my name is Tanudeep Kaur.

I have my Diploma of Early Education and Care which I completed in 2015. During my time as an educator I have cared for children in all age groups. I have been at Sandgate Kids Nash Street for two years as the lead educator in the toddler room.

I enjoy caring for this age group as the first few years of a child’s life are significant to the overall development of children. I enjoy facilitating their learning and helping them discover their strengths and talents. Each day brings a new possibility.

My name is Kristina Ramsay.

I have worked in the childcare industry for more than 25 years, 9 of those here at Sandgate Kids Nash Street.

My position at this centre is Lead Educator at the Junior Kindy, 2IC Lead Educator and Leader in the Active Outdoor Program

My qualifications include: Diploma of Childcare and Education, Certificate IV in fitness and a Diploma in Business.

I believe we are the first impression that both parents and children have as they begin their education journey so let’s make it a positive experience. Trust is very important to me as families are handing over their most precious gift. I believe in a holistic approach to the development of children and that is why my passion is also health and fitness.

Welcome. My name is Danielle Herwig and I am the Group Leader in the Pre- Kindy Room.

I have 10 years’ experience in early childhood education and care and have spent 7 of those years at Sandgate Kids Nash Street. I have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

I have worked with all age groups and in many areas of child development. I love working with children and I work hard to create a welcoming, community-like atmosphere where children and their families feel at home.

I am lucky to be working with such caring and dedicated educators who each work hard to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children and their families.
