Early education in Sandgate Kids Nash Street involves a steady routine your child will quickly adapt to. Your child will join an age-appropriate room where learning happens at a natural rate for that stage of development.<\/p>\n

Nursery – 6 weeks to 15 months<\/h6>\n
Toddler – 15 months to 2 years<\/h6>\n
Junior Kindy – 2 years to 3 years<\/h6>\n
Pre-Kindy – 3 years to 4 years<\/h6>\n
Kindy – 4 years to 5 years<\/h6>\n

Daily routine<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The day is broken up to allow for spontaneous play, structured learning, indoor and outdoor experiences and of course, nutritious food and necessary rest.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is an overview of the way a typical day works.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

6.30<\/strong> groups combine in Toddler room to enjoy a breakfast of toast<\/span><\/p>\n

7 \u2013 7.30<\/strong> the older children move to the senior playground for outdoor play<\/span><\/p>\n

9.00<\/strong> is when our children have their morning tea of fruit and a variety of healthy snacks. The children are with their room educators for morning tea.<\/span><\/p>\n

Morning<\/strong> offers a flexible routine throughout the centre according to room. Each room has activities suited to that age group.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lunch<\/strong> commences around 10.45 for the younger children through to 12 for the older ones.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rest<\/strong> period between 12 and 2 which varies according to each child\u2019s needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Afternoon tea<\/strong> commences with fruit and different snacks according to the day\u2019s menu.<\/span><\/p>\n

The rest of the day is free play until afternoon pick up.<\/span><\/p>\n

Special days<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Our program may include special days and special events. On those days our timetable might vary slightly.<\/span><\/p>\n

We may have special guests such as a petting zoo or special activities with guest teachers. We like to introduce our children to local people like police officers so they can learn about what they do.<\/span><\/p>\n

We also offer our own specialist programs in art and outdoor activities (Park).<\/span><\/p>\n
