How many children are in the group?
The numbers vary according to age. Currently we have 4 in Nursery, 10 in Toddlers, 16 in Junior Kindy and 24 in Kindergarten.
What do I need to pack for the day?
Babies and toddlers will need milk such formula, change of clothes and nappies, and sleep needs such as teddy etc.
Junior Kindy kids who are not toilet trained will need to supply nappies, change of clothes and sleep needs.
Kindergarten kids will need a change of clothes and sleep needs.
Do you do toilet training?
We assist families with toileting needs. Educators are keen to work closely with your child as they develop toileting skills.
Can you manage children with special needs?
Yes, we are keen to assist with your child’s developmental needs. We liaise with Inclusion Support which helps us by providing tailored inclusion advice and support from contracted Inclusion Agencies. This keeps our educators up to date with anything which could help us meet your child’s needs.
What security does your centre have?
We always keep our children safe and access to the premises is secured. Families are required to have a security code to enter the service.
What happens when I place my child on your wait list?
We are a very popular centre and our wait list is how we fill any of our spaces that become available. We will certainly let you know as soon as we have availability for your child.
When you place your child on our wait list it will stay current for 1 year. As it gets closer to the 1 year you will be prompted by the system to reply if you wish to stay on list or not. If We do not get a response from you then you wait list application will delete from system.
How much parent involvement do you need?
A Management Committee manages the service. It encourages families to be involved by becoming a member. Our Management Committee is keen to listen and follow through with the needs of all families. This collaborative approach allows all parties work together to ensure the service runs smoothly.
My child has allergies. How will you manage that?
Our enrolment process allows families to explain their children’s medical needs. All educators are involved in this process so that medical conditions will be maintained throughout the day.
Can I speak to my child’s teacher if I need to?
Of course, you can. Our educators are keen to get to know all the families at the service. We offer communication through face to face, email, Educa, or phone. If you need an educator we can also book in a time for you to have a chat. We value our contact and connection with all our parents.
